My Bio
Horror, thriller, sci-fi… all are synonymous with M.F. Wahl. Her keen focus on character development and dark, twisting plots, will keep you chained to each frightful word.

Wahl is a proud member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA), book reviewer, and VIP author with Stitched Smile Publications. She’s also the Managing Editor for the newly revived SSP magazine.

“Disease”, Wahl’s first novel, is currently a Wattpad Featured book in horror and will be released in 2017 through Stitched Smile. Several short stories of hers will appear in anthologies due out later this year though various publishers.

It was recently my honor to be a guest on The Last Knock Podcast. Interviewed by host Billy Crash I had a wonderful time, and I think that this is my best podcast yet. Through the course of the interview we discuss women’s roles in horror as characters, my writing career, what my parents thought of my early penchant for horror, why you should be reading – anything, and of course, my debut novel DISEASE (available now as a serialized eBook, and in full edition paperback and eBook October 23, 2014). Sending out my work is always a nerve wracking experience. You never know how a reviewer will respond to the material, or even what kind of mood they’ll be in when they pick up the book. The best that can be hoped for is an honest and straightforward critique of the work. Recently DISEASE was reviewed over at HorrorAddicts.net. This is a site created by horror fans, for horror fans, and it’s dedicated to all that goes bump in the night.
